Join Roche from Ghetto Funk Collective for 1.5 hour workshop in social party dance and locking. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to be taught by one of the world’s leading hip-hop dance artists.

Workshops are Age 13+ (Under 18's must leave the venue by 20:00 due to licensing laws)

These workshops are inclusive of all abilities and people (please be aware there are stairs in the venue, please contact us if you have an access enquiry and we'll work with the Rum Shack to accomodate).

Following the workshop we are running an Female Funk Fruition event, this workshop ticket grants free access to the evening programme of entertainment.

Ghetto Funk Collective is an artistic collective that came together through their mutual love for Funk. Not just the genre of music, but the whole lifestyle and the feel of it. The collective, based in Amsterdam, consists of various creative people who all have their own expertise. They are inspired by their origins in the 1970s, but always put their own spin on it in “the zeitgeist of today”. Funk has been here for over 50 years now, so it’s timeless and Ghetto Funk Collective aims to keep it going for generations to come. Soul by soul until we get the whole universe dancing!
