LayLow Presents: SIMON HERBERHOLZ

Saxophonist and composer Simon Herberholz is a frequently collaborator on the
Glasgow music scene, having worked with artists including Modernistic, Nathan
Somevi, Tao, Ari Tsugi and Bemz. Simon recently released his debut EP “All Possible
Futures” featuring Ewan Johnston (Piano), Chun-wei Kang (Drums) and Ewan Hastie
(Bass). He has been described as having a “strong and individual musical voice with a
highly creative and imaginative approach”

“All Possible Futures is the first music to be released under my own name. The
compositions were all written over the past years in Glasgow and are inspired by the
experiences I’ve had and the people I have played with whilst living here. The music is
both meditative and peaceful and energetic and focused, drawing on influences
including jazz, hip-hop and Indian classical music." - Simon Herberholz
