Glasgow Slowcore is a compilation by DIY label Negative Hope Records, featuring tracks by underground Glasgow-based artists. The aim was to capture an emerging scene of slow, brooding indie-rock music that harks back to the 'slowcore' era of the 90s and early 2000s, referencing bands such as Low, Duster and Codeine. The compilation features exclusives, b-sides, covers and lesser heard tracks by the bands and will be released on cassette/digital with a show at the Rum Shack, Glasgow, 14th March.
